Bobby’s Kitten to Twin Hills

GI Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Bobby’s Kitten (Kitten’s Joy–Celestial Woods, by Forestry) will shuttle to Twin Hills Stud in Australia for the 2017 Southern Hemisphere breeding season where he will stand for a fee of A$16,500. Currently standing his first season as a stallion at Kirsten Rausing’s Lanwades Stud in Newmarket, Bobby’s Kitten will be the first son of Kitten’s Joy (El Prado {Ire}) to stand in Australia. “Bobby’s Kitten is an excellent prospect” said Olly Tait, the owner of Twin Hills Stud. “He has all the attributes you look for in a stallion. He was a top two-year-old, a Group 1 winning sprinter at three, has an outstanding pedigree and is a magnificent looking horse, with strength, scope and quality”. A winner five times for Chad Brown in America, Bobby’s Kitten was transferred to Dermot Weld last year for whom he only made one start, albeit a successful one, when winning the Listed Cork S. by an impressive eight lengths on unsuitably heavy ground.
